So... this third american morning started with a phone call to the owner of the house I visited yesterday, to confirm my choice of accommodation for the year to come.
It was quickly followed by a very nice yet quick breakfast at Sunflower Café, before grabbing a bus to go to the equivalent of the Brighton Pier: Fisherman's Wharf.

Afterwards, we looked for a bike renting place, and once we were all done, we decided to go across the mythical bridge that is the Golden Gate, and to stop only after reaching Sausalito, a close city at the other end of the bay. This lovely city is full of tourists and curious visitors during holidays and week-end. Knowing it was a sunday, right before the celebration of Independance Day, you can imagine that the place was pretty crowded... It really is a charming city, full of arts galleries, colorful houses, and of course, restaurants right on the sea, like the famous Scoma's, a place we discovered 4 years ago after a 4 hours-long walk on the Golden Gate.

We managed to reach Sausalito (and the restaurant) in only an hour and a half, despite the track going both uphill (argh) and downhill (woohoo)!
Anyway, on the way back, we went back through Presidio Park and then Golden Gate Park, in order to reach the house and get all the accommodation paperwork out of the way.

Finally, after dropping the bikes back where they belonged, we walked up in the italian neighborhood of North Beach for dinner. We stopped at Figaro's and had a well-deserved plate of pasta in front of us very quickly.

Tomorrow, for July 4th, in order to celebrate Independance Day, there should be quite some animation and some fireworks! In the meantime, good night y'all!
