Among all the people that have inspired me the most over the last few years, one of them has had a special impact on me.
His name is Romain Corraze and in between 2009 and 2010, he's taken over a year off to travel the world. He started in Canada, went to the USA, Latin America, Jamaica, Australia, all over Asia, Russia, Finland, and ended up back in France. During this time, he held a blog to let his family, friends, and anyone interested in travelling know about his adventures. He's had ups and downs, like anyone, and along the way he had brought a video camera, a camera, and a bunch of other things vital to him or to document his adventures.

The following year after he came back, Romain created, directed, produced and edited a personal movie with the images he brought back from his trip. The movie was released last January, and I am proud to say that I pre-ordered the movie as soon as my bank account allowed me to.
I was not disapointed and after I received it, I watched it 4 times in a month or so. This incredible trip and the beautiful images he brought back always motivate me to do whatever I can to prepare a trip around the world or at least in a particular set of places after my studies...
I could go on and on about Romain and his trip, about the inspiration that I have for all sorts of different things, but the real reason that I'm posting about this today is that Romain is offering his movie for FREE for one week only (until next sunday, 8pm GMT+1 —French time—)
The movie is subtitled, so you don't have to worry about not understanding anything, and I can assure you that it is worth it. I usually don't really like the National Geographics-type of documentaries, but his movie is something that had a personal impact on me. I really encourage you to get it.
To receive the movie, there are several things that you need to do:
- Become a fan of his Facebok Page
- Send a message on the contact form on his website here with the following informations: your email address, and your Facebook Profile URL, and leaving him a little message like:
"Hey Romain, thanks for offering your movie for free... Here is my email adress: my-email-address@the-people-hosting-my-email.com and my facebook URL: http/facebook.com/either-a-number-or-your-personal-URL-that-shows-up-when-you-are-on-your-own-profile. Thanks!"
That is absolutely all. You'll receive a download link to the HD version of the movie. You need to be careful about two things though:
- Since it's in HD, the file is around 6gb.
- The link works only once, so make sure your internet connection is very reliable. Worst thing use an ethernet cable plugged from your internet boombox to your computer, it's much faster AND reliable... Trust me, I've had this problem before and it's quite annoying!
You can learn more about Romain's World Tour Project here, and click there to learn more about the movie itself.
I hope you'll use this opportunity of getting a free movie, and get inspired as well!
Did you get the movie? What did you think about it?
